Frequently asked questions
How long does it take to build an inground pool in Chester County?
Most residential inground pool projects run 10 to 16 weeks from break-ground to final water fill, weather permitting. Frazer and greater Chester County permitting can add two to four weeks up front. Larger jobs with pavilions, retaining walls, or landscape design run longer because we schedule those trades against pool completion.
Do I need a permit for an inground pool in Frazer?
Yes. Chester County municipalities require permits for inground pool construction, and most require an engineered site plan showing setbacks, grading, and storm-water management. We handle the entire permitting process for our clients as part of every new build.
Gunite, vinyl, or fiberglass — which pool type do you recommend?
For most Main Line homes we build gunite (concrete) pools because they can be shaped to fit any yard, hold up to decades of Pennsylvania freeze-thaw cycles, and finish beautifully with plaster, tile, and stone coping. We do build vinyl-liner pools when budget or timeline calls for it.
What's included in a Great Valley Landscape & Pool build?
One quote covers everything under our roof — excavation, storm-water infiltration, pool shell, plumbing and equipment, tile and coping, deck hardscape, landscape lighting, and planting. There are no separate contractors to coordinate.
