Outdoor & Landscape Lighting in Frazer, PA

LED landscape and pool lighting that makes your backyard beautiful after dark — designed for the specific fixtures, trees, and hardscape it's lighting.

Warm LED landscape lighting on a Frazer PA backyard pool patio at dusk
The backyards we build hit their peak twice a day. Once at midday when the sun is on the water. Once at dusk, when the right lighting turns the pool, the pavilion, the stonework, and the trees into a version of the yard that most homeowners never get to see because their lighting is either wrong or missing. For 18+ years we have been designing and installing landscape and pool lighting across Frazer, Chester County, and the Main Line — always as part of the whole outdoor project, tuned to the specific hardscape and planting it's lighting. ## What we light - **Pathways** — low-glare path lights along walkways, driveways, and pool decks - **Trees** — uplighting on mature trees, moonlighting downlights hidden in the canopy - **Stonework** — wash lights on [retaining walls](/services/retaining-walls/) and [stone masonry](/services/stone-masonry/) that make the texture pop - **Water features** — submerged and edge lighting on [waterfalls, spas, and pools](/services/water-features/) - **Structures** — beam-mounted and post lights on [pavilions](/services/pavilions/) and [pergolas](/services/pergolas/) - **Facades** — architectural lighting on the house, garage, and outbuildings - **Steps and hazards** — LED step lights integrated into risers, low-glare tread lights ## Why design matters more than fixtures Any electrician can plant fixtures every ten feet across a yard. That gives you an evenly-lit yard that looks like a parking lot at night and does nothing for the architecture. What we design is contrast — bright where the eye should go, dark everywhere else. That means: - Uplighting focused on trunks and canopies, not the ground - Wash lights placed to graze textured stone at an angle - Path lights spaced to give safe illumination without a runway effect - Pool lighting that lets you actually see into the water - Scenes that change from evening entertaining to overnight security ## LED and controls Every system we install is low-voltage LED, wired to a smart transformer, controllable from a phone. That means: - Schedules that follow dusk-to-dawn automatically - Dimming for late-night quiet mode - Seasonal color scenes if you want them - Zone control so the pool deck and the front walk operate independently - Fixtures that last 15+ years without a bulb change ## Built with the whole yard Landscape lighting is always the last trade on the project — after the [patio](/services/patios-walkways/), the [walls](/services/retaining-walls/), the [pool](/services/inground-pools/), and the [planting](/services/landscape-design/). Trenches and conduits, though, are planned from day one so we're not tearing up finished hardscape to run wire. ## Serving your neighborhood We design and install landscape lighting across Frazer, Malvern, Chester Springs, Downingtown, West Chester, Wayne, Bryn Mawr, Villanova, Gladwyne, Bala Cynwyd, Media, Chadds Ford, Newtown Square, and the surrounding Main Line neighborhoods. Frequently asked questions

Why hire a landscape lighting designer instead of buying kit fixtures?
Because lighting is a design problem, not a shopping problem. The difference between kit fixtures splashed evenly across a yard and a real lighting design is the difference between a parking lot and a garden at night. We place fixtures based on what actually needs to be lit and how the light will read from the house, the patio, and the street.
Low-voltage or line-voltage — what's the difference?
Almost every residential landscape lighting installation should be low-voltage 12V LED — safer around water and hands, easier to add to later, and modern LED performance is excellent. We only use line-voltage where a specific fixture requires it.
Do you install pool lighting too?
Yes — in-pool LED lights, color-changing pool lights, deck-jet lighting, and lighting integrated into water features. Best done during a pool build or remodel, but often addable to existing pools.
Can I control the lighting from my phone?
Yes. We install smart transformers and controllers that let you schedule, dim, and change scenes from your phone. Away-from-home schedules, seasonal color, holiday scenes — all standard.
